"Digitalization Meets Decarbonization: The Role of AI, IoT, and Blockchain"

Synopsis

As the global energy sector accelerates toward net-zero targets, digital technologies are emerging as powerful enablers of decarbonization. This panel will explore how artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain can be integrated to transform energy systems, industries, and cities into more sustainable and resilient ecosystems.

Experts from academia, industry, and policy will discuss practical applications-from predictive analytics for energy efficiency and demand forecasting, to IoT-enabled smart grids and blockchain-based carbon tracking. The session will also address challenges such as data interoperability, cybersecurity, and scalability, while highlighting opportunities for collaboration across sectors.

By bringing together diverse perspectives, this panel aims to demonstrate how digital innovation can unlock new pathways for reducing carbon emissions, driving sustainable growth, and shaping a cleaner future.
